the site is dedicated to people and their opensource projects -
it is based on the observation that many homepage freespace providers
do not match the needs of opensource programmers to publish their
patches, info sheets, shell scripts and quick-n-dirty tarballs and rpms.
Here one can upload them for public review and free (re)usage and
have them at the same time combined in a place that is strongly connected
with its author - so it is okay to put a small personal info sheet
here as long as it is useful information to people looking for
free computer things. :-)
