What is it about		Worum geht's
The XFCE is a lightweight Desktop Environment that takes over much of the look and feel of the widespread CDE Desktop Environments.		Die XFCE Arbeitsplatz Umgebung übernimmt wesentliche Teile seines Verhaltens von den weitverbreiteten CDE Arbeitsplatz Umgebungen.
Just have a look at the homepage of XFCE at www.XFCE.org and view the Snapshots there.		Sieh doch einfach mal auf der XFCE Homepage unter www.XFCE.org nach, dort findest Du auch einige Snapshots.
The XFCE does have a hard stand in comparison with KDE and GNOME which are sold along with major Linux distributions.		Die XFCE hat einen recht schweren Stand im Vergleich mit KDE und GNOME die von den grossen Linux Distributionen mitgeliefert werden.
In comparison with those, the XFCE is more stable and does consume much less memory and processor time. The XFCE does not use an ORB or something like it. The applets still use a protocol that stems from the long-standing FVWM history.		Im Vergleich mit diesen wirkt XFCE ein Stück stabiler und vor allem verbraucht es viel weniger Hauptspeicher und Rechenzeit. Die XFCE braucht keinen ORB oder irgendetwas ähnliches. Die Applets (kleine Zusatz-Module in der Umgebung) benutzen als unterliegendes Protocol die bewährte FVWM Variante.

The autodesk patch is included in the XFCE 3.2.1 release. It is currently tightly coupled with the SnapSize in the config screen, but will get surely its own entry later. For the moment, you have to set SnapSize < 6 to turn it off. autodesk for 3.1.2 rejected, did not work in Olivier's setup autodesk for 3.2.0 included into the xfce release 3.2.1 autodesk for 3.2.1 disintegrates WindowSnapSize and DesktopSnapSize, still needs a xfce-config entry. This patch should also be applicable to the xfce-3.2.2 preview versions.		Der Autodesk Patch ist in die 3.2.1 Release von XFCE eingearbeitet. Er ist derzeit eng an SnapSize im Konfigurations-Fenster gekoppelt, er wird aber sicher seinen eigenen Eintrag demnächst bekommen. Im Moment sollte man SnapSize < 6 setzen um es abzuschalten. autodesk für 3.1.2 abgelehnt, da es in Olivier's setup nicht funktionierte autodesk für 3.2.0 im XFCE release 3.2.1 eingearbeitet. autodesk für 3.2.1 WindowSnapSize und DesktopSnapSize sind nun verschieden, braucht aber noch einen eigenen Eintrag im Config-Fenster. Dieser Patch sollte auch auf die xfce-3.2.2 preview Versionen angewendet werden können.
